Priscilla Peach Lang is a Licensed Acupuncturist and a board certified Herbalist by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She earned her Doctorate of Acupuncture in Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science in Chicago, Illinois. Priscilla spent more than seven years, and over 3500 classroom hours training in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology, Biomedicine, and Oriental Medicine Theory. During her education, she worked as a senior intern, spending a surplus of 1000 clinic hours, treating patients under the supervision of highly educated acupuncturists; whom not only instruct parts of the program, but also run and operate their own clinics. Her doctorate degree helped her gain in-depth knowledge on integrative medicine, systems-based medicine, research literacy, and evidence-informed practice. These collaborative tools are important for assessing patients and allows Priscilla to be able to work with a variety of other practitioners in an integrated fashion to provide the safest and most effective treatments for all her patients.
Priscilla is an experienced registered yoga instructor, and has been teaching for over 14 years. In 2009, Priscilla completed her 200 hour Yoga Alliance certification in Hatha yoga. She has trained in depth with Forrest yoga, Ashtanga, as well as Universal Yoga. Most recently, she has helped teach goat yoga bringing fun and lightheartedness to a sometimes misunderstood practice. No matter if it is serious, silly, fast, or slow, Priscilla's pleasure is in helping people find movement and breath together in their body.
In 2016 Priscilla completed her 300 hour Biodynamic Cadiovascular Therapist training, and is a certified Biodynamic Cardiovascular Therapist. She uses this work to promote the understanding of embodiment in order to help her patients find decompression in their nervous systems.
In 2018, Priscilla became certified with acutonics tuning forks, and works with the vibrational qualities of the forks in order to offer an alternative options to needles for her acupuncture treatments.
In 2017, Priscilla’s daughter was born with a congenital heart defect inspiring her to grow her practice to include pediatrics. Her certification in pediatric acupuncture helps her to treat babies and children that require different diagnosing methods and treatment plans compared to fully matured adults. As a mother to a sick child on a medical health journey, she knows personally how taxing it can be on the entire family. Her passion to support the dynamics pregnancy, birth, motherhood, and newborn life can bring to a family are at the heart of her medicine.
Priscilla’s greatest joy is being able to provide multiple tools and resources for health and longevity. Her experience and rigorous education allows her to treat a variety of chief complaints, meeting each individual where they are on their healing journey, and customizing treatments to meet their specific needs.
